with several bullets because it had not been selected as consul in Paris. It is deceased on
September 19, 1881, of an infection caused by a bullet which had not been possible to extract.
He was the twentieth president of the United States elected for 1881. His
mandate is one of shorter of the history of the United States, 6 months and 15 days.
This tragic event took place during the period Mercury-Mars
