April 4, 1968 at 18h01, Martin Luther King was assassinated
by a segregationist on the balcony of a motel at Memphis in Tennessee. He fatally wounded by a bullet at the throat
and he died at the hospital at 19h05. Pastor, he was the leader of the minorities of color to defend the civic rights
with non-violent actions. By this choice, he is regarded as one of the successors of Gandhi. He met President
John F. Kennedy who gave to him the support of the American state in the fight against the racial discriminations.
He got the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his non-violent fight.
