Saturday January 19, 2008, the "Société Générale", the second french bank, would
discover a massive fraud which would make by one of its traders. The bank announce
to have sold all the suspicious securities for a total amount of 48 billions of
Euros in three days since Monday January 21, 2008. This transactions caused
considerable looses for a total amount of 4,9 billions of Euros. This massive
selling most probably caused the fall of the worldwide Stock Market and the
sharp fall in interest rate decided by the Fed in the USA, few days after.
It is the biger bank loss in the world!
